The StarNet ZIP code sections and newsletters

StarNet, the Arizona Daily Star's online service, has created almost 50 sections online where readers can zero in on news about the people and events in their Tucson-area ZIP codes. These useful mini-sites will help you catch up with news, sports and happenings where you live, work or play.

The sites also have links to ZIP-specific info on weather, school test scores, recent home sales, recycling and other resources.

To help you stay on top of developments, StarNet has added weekly e-mail newsletters of headlines from those ZIP codes. To sign up for one or more newsletters, go to tucson.com/registration and get a log-in and password. If you are already a registered site user, you can log in to update your newsletter subscription list.

Look for links to the ZIP code sections in the accompanying dropdown menu, on the left side of most StarNet pages, or in a special area added to the www.azstarnet.com/metro and www.azstarnet.com/neighbors pages.
